We do not collect, see or store them.
No account, no advertising, no trackers, no analytics.

YIP Note is made by YourIPLawyer.in (Adv. Rohit Pradhan), “we” in this policy. It explains what happens to information when you use the YIP Note app and this website.

1. What the app keeps, and where

The app keeps the following only on your device, inside the app’s own storage:

documents you import (PDFs, photos, and Word files, which are turned into PDF on the device);
your highlights, pen marks, stickers, redactions, comments, bookmarks and notes;
your settings, such as appearance, app colour and the optional greeting preference.

We have no copy of any of it.

2. What we collect

Nothing. The app does not send your documents, notes or settings to us or to anyone else. It contains no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. Making a scanned page searchable and turning a Word file into a PDF happen on your device, using the device’s own built-in technology.

3. Backups

When you save a backup, you choose where the backup file goes: for example the Files app, iCloud Drive or a USB drive. That place is run by its own provider under its own terms and privacy policy. Anyone who has a backup file can open it in YIP Note, so keep it as safely as the papers themselves.

4. Apple and the App Store

Downloads, updates and any purchases are handled by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy. We never receive your card or payment details. If you have chosen in your device’s settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple may share crash reports and usage statistics with us. These do not include your documents or notes.

5. Links to other websites

Tapping the YIP Note name in the app opens youriplawyer.in in your browser. Other websites have their own privacy policies.

6. This website

This website uses no cookies, analytics or trackers. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which, like any web host, processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the pages and protect them from abuse, under Cloudflare’s privacy policy. The colour you pick on this website is remembered only in your own browser.

7. Children

YIP Note is made for legal professionals and is not directed at children.

8. Deleting your information

Delete a Case File in the app, or delete the app: everything it kept on the device is removed. We hold nothing about you that needs deleting.

9. Your rights

Because we do not collect your personal data, we hold none about you. If you have a question about your data, including under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, please write to us.

10. Changes to this policy

If a future version of YIP Note ever needs to send anything off your device, for an optional feature, it will ask you first and say in plain words what would leave the device. We will update this page and its date.
